"I like to kill shit"

Rear Window meets Sasquatch.

Lance Henricksen and Jeffry Combs.

A Tiffany Shepis shower scene.

Shotguns.

You just know this is gonna be good.

And it is.

Preston Rogers is wheelchair bound since his rock climbing accident. In a bid to complete his post-traumatic stress therapy Preston returns to his mountain cabin – the scene of his accident where he sadly lost his wife (with a nurse to administer pills / get killed by a sasquatch when required).

In between rolling about in his cabin – dwelling on those tragic past events - Preston notices two things:

1.     Several lovely young ladies have moved into the cabin next door, including scream queen legend Tiffany Shepis – she of the shower scene.

2.     There is something in the woods just outside the cabins, stalking and plucking off the girls one by one.

The drama that unfolds is actually quite suspenseful (who’s gonna believe a guy in a wheelchair right? Just take your pills crazy Preston). The script is tight and the acting ok for a creature-feature. The monster suit is amazing - this is a CGI free-zone.

All of this is good of course – unfortunately (depending on your view) the trade-off is a lack of “cheese” per-se.

Made up for perhaps by some campy performances by legends Henricksen and Combs. Lets face it, these two horror legends in the same film is a special occasion. Other highlights include Henricksen doing what he does best: cocking a shotgun in tight denim pants. And of course there is Tiffany... sweet, sweet Tiffany.

Don't let the icons below put you off, it's the overall score that counts. This is all suspense and amazing monster suit, making for an underrated gem and of course - a must for squatch enthusiasts.
